A Brief History of NoSQL Databases
About

Invented in the 1970s, relational databases offered a way to arrange data into rows and columns.
As the internet was booming towards the end of the 1990s, developers wanted something more flexible that can handle all the users going online and their information. This is when non-relational, or NoSQL, databases gained popularity.

In this talk we will go over the differences of SQL vs. NoSQL, cover the different concepts like ACID and the CAP Theorem, discuss pros and cons of each type of database, and when do they make a good choice for your system's architecture.
