Building a better open source product is much more then lines of code of better engineering. Over the last 7 years we have been building ScyllaDB an Apache Cassandra (TM) and AWS DynamoDB compliant database.

In this session I'll share our story (success and mistakes) in connecting to an existing community, building trust, and giving back.
