About

For many software engineering is limited to the enterprise domain, where conventions define the challenges programmers face. Building a software synth is different from enterprise development! This talk is an incentive for many to unleash their creative endeavors.
In this talk, we will learn many things about the physics of sound, how real-world FM synthesizers work, and how to emulate one with functional programming in JavaScript step-by-step.
We talk about sound waves, oscillators, filters, ADSR envelopes, sampling rates, generators. We will create the THX sound!
Disco balls are optional!
