Building Reliable Systems with Elixir
About

As developers, our employers or clients are paying us to build systems that solve business problems. Providing systems that are reliable should be a basic assumption and it is key to our clients, therefore it should be important to us. In this webinar, I will showcase several features of the Elixir & Erlang languages that allow to build a reliable system that can face system failures. I will show how applications can be moved to a spare server. In addition, I will show how to use Riak Core to maintain cluster state. Thus, the loss of a server node will not cause service interruption for the customers of a service.
