Collaborating at Scale - Can the whole be greater than the sum of its parts?
About

Collaboration is the act of working together in a group to produce something. When we scale, can the sum of individual efficiencies linearly increase group productivity? If a bridge can be built with 10 people in 100 days, can a similar bridge be built with 1000 people in 1 day? Why do we hit limits? And how can we manage to scale efficiently? And most important, can the whole be greater than the sum of its parts?

I will give a few use cases.
