El aumento progresivo del número de personas mayores supone un importante problema para los servicios asistenciales y sociales. Por ello surge la necesidad de abordar nuevos modelos sociales basados en las tecnologías del ecosistema 4.0 que permitan atender la necesidad de asistencia de este colectivo.
Se propone un sistema basado en la utilización de sensores y dispositivos IoT para transformar el sistema actual en un sistema inteligente capaz de detectar incidencias a partir de los movimientos y costumbres de una persona en su lugar de residencia.
