About

Subscriptions seem to be one of the coolest features of GraphQL, but on the other hand they require a dedicated infrastructure and a completely different approach both on server and client side, significantly increasing the complexity of the whole system.

How can long-living sessions be handled? And how can problems like authentication, caching or error handling be addressed?
In this talk, we'll see how to face all these issues and we'll understand when it's appropriate to use subscriptions and which tools and strategies can be used to make them work in a production environment.
