Bruce Lawson was a CTO. At the Codemotion Berlin 2018 conference we asked him these questions: you have vast experience as a CTO. How much of that work is coding only and how much is devoted to resolving tech issues? Is it important for a CTO to keep on coding once they reach seniority, or is it more of an evolution, and coding is left aside to focus on business issues? Which are the main problems a CTO has to face? Is it difficult to relate to developers and render business requests to them?
