Interview with Bruce Lawson at Codemotion Berlin 2018 (part 2)
About

Bruce Lawson was a speaker at the Codemotion Berlin 2018 conference, delivering the talk “Shokunin of the web”. We asked him few questions: Shokunin of the web, “a social obligation to work for the general welfare” – do you feel web developers should care more about inclusiveness toward the end users and less about the latest cool technologies? Components, components everywhere… What are the hidden costs (and risks) of moving web development to component-based frameworks? You have been involved in web standards since 2002, and we are about to celebrate the 30th anniversary of W3C. Where do we go from here? Is the web getting too old?
