Gian Wild delivered the talk “Mobile accessibility: the good, the bad and the ugly” during the Codemotion Milan 2018 conference. We interviewed Gian and asked these questions: what are the main accessibility features to consider when developing mobile apps? How can those features be used effectively? What are the challenges of devices design, from an a11y point of view? Is accessibility only a matter for the front-enders? Can UC and accessible sites work hand in hand? Are accessibility principles common worldwide, or do they vary depending on each individual?
