With the shift to using Cloud services and k8s, developers suddenly have more design choices on how to run their applications. But more choices bring more bug possibilities. In this talk, I will share how the choice of k8s controller can hide software design choice bugs, told as a war story of migrating from a k8s Cronjob to a k8s Deployment and cronjob in code.
