With more than 10 years in development I decided to explore other roles to boost my contribution to product organizations and today I'm a Product Lead with several years of experience as a technical lead and with Enterprise coach skills. Passionate about product and people, I believe empathy is the key skill to be successful in Product, starting with empathy to your customer to understand their pains but also practicing empathy with your team to communicate in the right way the company strategy and with stakeholders to provide the right visibility of what is going on at the team level.

I’m a Product Manager with 12 years of experience in customer-centric product engineering, design and UX, who loves driving products from Strategy to Tactics, empowering product engineering teams to be inside the consumer’s mind and build from there. I love building profitable products with a real impact on people’s lives, inspiring and promoting healthy & inclusive workspaces for the people who build them. Always hungry for knowledge, curious and eager to learn.

Born in Montevideo, Uruguay, Laura has lived in Madrid for the past 16 years. Starting in 2012 she worked as a UX designer and in 2014 she founded the Madrid chapter of the international event Ladies that UX aimed at empowering design women around the world. After half a decade as a UX designer, she changed roles and became a PM. She currently works at Hopin as a Senior Product Manager.
