Vi è tuttavia una carenza nel numero di ecografisti esperti. La tecnologia può però supportare i medici ad acquisire competenze in modo innovativo. Presenterò la progettazione e lo sviluppo di uno strumento di formazione digitale, che propone la simulazione di casi clinici reali e guida il medico verso la corretta diagnosi attraverso un flusso decisionale generato da un modello ispirato alle Reti Bayesiane. Deployare un modello di ML in un contesto operativo richiede un'ampia suite di test che servono per valutare la robustezza del modello e mitigare possibili bias nei dati. Ma possiamo basare davvero l’affidabilità del modello solo attraverso metriche di prestazioni? In questo talk, utilizzando un task di computer vision, mostrerò come il behavioral testing può essere utilizzato per valutare l'affidabilità del modello, e perché, risulta essenziale in un contesto ad alto rischio come la diagnosi dei tumori.
