L'utilizzo di codice per la definizione di infrastrutture (Infrastructure as Code, aka IaC) ha introdotto nelle attività di "operation" le necessità e i vantaggi della gestione dei codici sorgenti versionati e l'applicazione di best practices largamente riconosciute nel mondo del software. Il codice prodotto risulta però spesso difficile da mantenere a causa di linguaggi poco leggibili e con funzionalità o sintassi limitate. In this talk we’ll see how to create a web map with the Python based web framework Django using its GeoDjango module, storing geographic data in your local database on which to run geospatial queries.
