Da un anno e mezzo i termini smart e remote working sono entrati a far parte della vita di noi sviluppatori. Ed ora che la pandemia sembra stia allentando la stretta, il dibattito tra le aziende se continuare o meno è infuocato. Le big company stanno prendendo strade diverse: Google sta facendo parzialmente marcia indietro verso un ritorno negli uffici, Twitter invece sostiene di voler diventare una fully remote company.
Gli aspetti da esaminare sono tanti: dal processo di hiring di una risorsa remota, all'onboarding, a come si trasforma il management. Lo approfondiremo in questo panel!

I'm an engineer, an entrepreneur and a nerd addicted to technology. I took master degree in computer engineering with thesis in Artificial Intelligence at Polytechnic University of Bari in 2007. I worked for several years in ICT companies in the south of Italy as developer. I attended the Mind The Bridge startup school in San Francisco in 2011. Back in Italy I started working on my own companies. I'm the founder of GDG Bari and I'm the current community lead. Now, I'm the CTO of Wideverse, a spin-off of Polytechnic University of Bari that works on VR and AR technologies.

Human resources executive with 10+ years of experience working in various sectors, from consulting and healthcare up to the tech one. She is currently leading the People department at Everli, the main European e-grocery marketplace and one of its fastest-growing scale-ups. People Team at Everli support the journey and the development of a growing international team of 300+ people located in Italy, Czech Republic, France, Poland and soon in Romania and Germany with more than 20 different nationalities and a lot of team members working remotely.

In 2000 he decided to begin the work activity that allowed him to collaborate with many realities including multinational companies such as Mer Mec, Natuzzi, ilMeteo.it, P&G, Fiat CNH, Wolter Kluwers, Bridgestone both for software development and as a teacher. He has written articles and technical books for various national magazines and started some collaborations as a speaker for Microsoft. This last collaboration, allowed him to receive the Microsoft MVP award and to be present on the Microsoft campus in Seattle in direct contact with the development teams. Today he is CTO of Insoore.

After starting his career at the United Nations and the InterAmerican Development Bank, Nicolò worked as a consultant for McKinsey in London and AlphaBeta in Singapore, with global clients like Google, Uber, and Netflix in Asia. He holds a MBA from INSEAD and a MSc. in Economics from Bocconi University
