About
Smart people often build ambitious applications to solve the world’s problems, but they don’t look at the feasibility & sustainability of these solutions. The circumstantial contexts like limited resources, minimal infrastructure, smartphone adoption, & loads more are usually overlooked. Solutions like USSD or low bandwidth apps are never at the top of the list even though they are sometimes most appropriate. In this talk, I’d like to walk you through some of the challenges that Africans face & how we can improve as a global tech community to support relevant & effective solutions.
