About
The Day I Forgot My Database On: A Journey to Serverless Databases
About
Starting with AWS, the major cloud providers offer different options to run a relational database database on the cloud. A recent approach is to rely on so-called serverless (relational) databases like Aurora Serverless (v1 and v2) or Azure SQL Database serverless that offer both traditional TCP connections and HTTP API access. In a short journey to serverless databases, we will cover the main benefits and see a few limitations of the new approach.
